The area in question is currently used mainly for traditional forestry. For the construction of the solar park, Ilmatar has signed a lease agreement with the property owner.
The planned activity concerns the construction, operation and later decommissioning of a solar energy plant with an installed capacity of approximately 7 MW using current technology. The application will also include the power lines and technical facilities required for the solar park to function.
Lärkeröd solar park is located in close proximity to Ilmatars Persköp project, which is another, larger solar park for which Ilmatar is simultaneously applying for a permit.
