The Riihiviita projects is planned in Riihimäki, Kanta-Häme. The project is divided into two areas totaling 74 hectares.
The first area, Riihiviita A, consists of 45 hectares of agricultural fields, while the second area, Riihiviita B, covers approximately 29 hectares of managed forest.

Ilmatar sparks attention at the Swedish parliament
“Grid connections are the most important factor for us to secure right now as a developer of renewable energy production. If we are referred to the regional electricity grids in Sweden, our projects will have to be scaled back. As a country, we cannot afford to do that when we know that all forms of renewable energy are needed,” says Ilmatar’s Robert Wedmo, who held a lunch seminar in the Swedish Parliament in mid-November.
