Our approach to sustainability

We are committed to perform our business in the most sustainable way possible. We contribute strongly to mitigating climate change by producing fossil-free energy. Positive handprint is not enough for us. We strive to reduce our footprint, including the footprint of our supply chain, where a substantial part of the carbon emissions occurs. We also continuously assess the impacts of climate risks to our portfolio.

To support biodiversity, we search for best available solutions regarding land-use in our projects to conserve biodiversity and to mitigate any negative environmental impacts. ​We develop biodiversity-supporting, and circularity enhancing operations and mitigates any negative impacts on nature or animals.

As most of the potential negative impacts regarding human rights and occupational health and safety risks lay within the supply chain, we select our partners and contractors carefully. By tracking their performance and setting targets for improvement, we promote human rights throughout our supply chain.

Above compliance, we act as a fair taxpayer and strictly refuse any anti-competitive measures and any form of bribery and corruption.
