Ilmatar will carry out comprehensive nature and other environmental studies of the area during the summer – autumn of 2024, the results of which will be used to assess which parts of the study area are suitable for solar energy production and will be presented for construction in the permit applications. A building permit for the project is expected to be applied for during the winter period 2024-2025, followed by more detailed engineering design. Construction of the project will start in 2026 at the earliest and production in 2027 at the earliest.
