Ilmatar plans to construct and operate a solar park in the municipality of Perstorp, east of Perstorp directly north of road 21 and the railway.

Perstorp – Sweden
The facility is planned to include ground-mounted solar panels, inverters, step-up transformers, switching stations, transformer stations, energy storage facility, power lines and communication networks, roads, and service buildings. Ilmatar is concurrently applying for a building permit for the energy storage facility on the property as it requires a building permit. The various components of the solar park are necessary to convert the direct current generated by the solar panels into alternating current and to transport the energy to the regional power grid.
The national goal for Sweden is to achieve 100 percent fossil free electricity production by 2045. The purpose of this project is to establish a coherent solar park with consideration for people, nature and the environment and thus produce renewable energy as part of the national transition to a renewable, climate smart and sustainable society.
The consultation with the Skåne County Administrative Board and consultations with stakeholders and the public regarding the solar park have been carried out during 2024.
