The Isokeidas wind power project is located in the municipality of Isojoki in the province of South Ostrobothnia. The excellent wind conditions, the distance to settlements and the possibility to coordinate wind power production with other land use in the area make the Isokeidas project area a suitable location for wind power production.

Ilmatar sparks attention at the Swedish parliament
“Grid connections are the most important factor for us to secure right now as a developer of renewable energy production. If we are referred to the regional electricity grids in Sweden, our projects will have to be scaled back. As a country, we cannot afford to do that when we know that all forms of renewable energy are needed,” says Ilmatar’s Robert Wedmo, who held a lunch seminar in the Swedish Parliament in mid-November.
