Ilmatar Kajaani Oy is planning to construct a wind farm in the Löytösuo area, located on the western border of Kajaani. The planning area for the Löytösuo wind power project is adjacent to the municipal boundary between Kajaani and Pyhäntä to the west and the Piiparinmäki wind power partial master plan area. The northern part of the area is close to the Siikalatva municipal boundary. The project area is located approximately 1.5 km west of the Vuolijoki urban area and over 30 km southwest of the Kajaani urban area. The nearest zoned area is the Vuolijoki zoning plan, about 1.5 km away.

Solkatterna keeps Karlstad thriving
We aim to be an active part of the local society in the areas where we operate, fostering a sense of belonging and engagement. One of the organizations we sponsor is Solkatterna Speedway, in Karlstad in southern Sweden, close to our two projects in Värmland, Lång and Grums. Solkatterna is a club founded in 1966 where volunteer work plays a significant role. – Without our sponsors, there wouldn’t be any speedway in Karlstad, says Christian Nordin, the club’s vice chairman.
