The Pahkakoski wind farm is located on the Pahkakoski external parcel in the municipality of Ii, near the Yli-Ii area of the city of Oulu in Northern Ostrobothnia. 30 industrial-scale wind turbines with nominal capacity of 186 MW will be erected in the area. This is a significant renewable energy project that will have substantial impacts on the regional economy, the clean transition, and Finland’s carbon neutrality goals.
