The Möksy and Louhukangas wind power areas are located in the eastern part of Alajärvi city in South Ostrobothnia. The area generates renewable electricity from 36 wind turbines from which 23 are located in Louhukangas area.
The wind power areas have mainly been used for forestry and peat production, and they are located far from residential areas. Excellent wind conditions, distance from residential areas, and the possibility of integrating wind power production with other land uses in the area make the Möksy and Louhukangas areas ideal locations for wind power production.

Solkatterna keeps Karlstad thriving
We aim to be an active part of the local society in the areas where we operate, fostering a sense of belonging and engagement. One of the organizations we sponsor is Solkatterna Speedway, in Karlstad in southern Sweden, close to our two projects in Värmland, Lång and Grums. Solkatterna is a club founded in 1966 where volunteer work plays a significant role. – Without our sponsors, there wouldn’t be any speedway in Karlstad, says Christian Nordin, the club’s vice chairman.
