Ilmatar is preparing a wind farm with 20 wind turbines in the Pielavesi and Keitele areas of Northern Savonia. The Muntterinkangas planning area is located between Hirvenselkä and Vuonamonlahti, approximately 10 kilometers north of Keitele’s municipal center and about 15 kilometers northwest of Pielavesi’s municipal center. In Phase 2 of the Northern Savonia Regional Plan 2040, the Muntterinkangas area has been designated as a potential wind power area.
