Ilmatar is planning a 450-hectare solar park in Tönnersjö, at Halmstad Tönnersjöheden 23:4 in Halmstad municipality. For this purpose, the applicant has signed a lease agreement with the property owners. The area mainly consists of production forest ready for harvesting and is estimated to have limited natural values.
Ilmatar conducted a delimitation consultation in March 2023. The application for an environmental permit was submitted to the County Administrative Board of Halland on 30 April 2024.
