Ilmatar is exploring the potential for a wind power project in the Kokkokangas area in Haapavesi, Ostrobothnia. Preliminary plans suggest that up to six wind turbines could be installed in the area with the nominal capacity of 45 MW.

Ilmatar donated to Finland’s 108th anniversary by supporting peatland protection in Northern Ostrobothnia
Ilmatar is one of the financiers in a joint nature gift initiative by renewable energy companies. The participating companies donated the protection and restoration of one hectare of peatland and forest areas for each year of Finland’s independence.
