A solar power park planned for the Verhonkulma area in Koski Tl is intended to be built on a maximum area of 70 hectares and could produce electricity with a peak capacity of up to 46 MWp. The construction of the project could tentatively begin in 2025, with commercial operation expected to commence in 2026.
The project area, located close to the 10 motorway, is well connected to the main road. The area is also served by the Fingrid Lieto-Forssa 110 kV transmission line, which will serve as a connection point to the grid.

Solkatterna keeps Karlstad thriving
We aim to be an active part of the local society in the areas where we operate, fostering a sense of belonging and engagement. One of the organizations we sponsor is Solkatterna Speedway, in Karlstad in southern Sweden, close to our two projects in Värmland, Lång and Grums. Solkatterna is a club founded in 1966 where volunteer work plays a significant role. – Without our sponsors, there wouldn’t be any speedway in Karlstad, says Christian Nordin, the club’s vice chairman.
